A Case of a Child with Stroke and Severe Hypertension Due to Vasculopathy in Neurofibromatosis Type I

Abstract

Ischemic stroke is an infrequent disease of pediatric patients. We report a case of 2 year old child with neurofibromatosis, who had acute hemiplegia and severe hypertension (required artery angioplasty) due to both cerebral vascular disease and renal artery stenosis.
