The proposal title for the special issue is "Materials Science in the Field of cultural heritage: Analytical and Treatment Studies". Though there are several traditional materials used in the treatment of ancient Buildings and object, this materials have been proved to be less benefit on the artifacts and also caused damage to the original specimen on the long-term. Nowadays, there are several researchers that work on the innovative materials that used for the protection of artifacts on the short and long term. Thus, It is important to allocate an area for those researchers to show their works.
