In-vivio imaging is an emerging area in biomedical sciences, which basically covered all aspect of basic science. The primary point for this issue is to acknowledge the fundamental role of biophysical science in cancer imaging. Role of gamma emitting radioisotopes in in-vivo imaging is considering one of the best techniques over the other imaging modalities such as MRI and fluorescent imaging. This issue would be covering the designing the radionuclide imaging probe, radioisotope availability for imaging cancer biology, biophysico-chemico analysis. Currently the role of in-vivo imaging sparks the cancer diagnosis and staging in medical sciences. 18FDG is currently being used foe diagnosis and staging the cancer via positron emission tomography.
