Palliative Emergencies

01About This Special Issue

We are proposing the topic “palliative emergencies” for the special issue, because we consider that is an abandoned area in the emergency department, sometimes we overtreat patients and sometimes we actually abandon them. We want to raise awareness about the best options to treat palliative emergencies like pain, bleeding, dyspnea and acute loss of function.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Pain
  2. End of life care
  3. Dyspnea
  4. Acute loss of function
  5. Palliative care
  6. Emergency medicine
