The Special Issue “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Mechanical Engineering and Application” focuses on application and development of intelligent methods for the solution of scientific and engineering problems. This is accomplished through methods including but not limited to genetic algorithms, neural networks, fuzzy methods, computational optimization, data-driven engineering, statistical methods, machine learning.

The aim of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists, researchers and industry leaders, in the field of intelligent and data-driven methods to disseminate recent findings and progress.
