About This Special Issue
Purification and treatment of water by using naturally occuring materials such as clay, zeolites, rise husk etc. have become one of the trending topics in the current era. Natural systems for treatment of various types wastewater have always drawn attention because of low capital as well as maintenance and operation costs. There is a great need for wastewater treatment for all sources of pollution and there is also an obvious potential for natural treatment systems. The publication on “Natural Material for Wastewater Treatment” provides a comprehensive overview about the synthesis, methodology and treatment performance of various types of natural materials for waste water treatment systems. This special issue will cover the schemes, methodology and application of natural materials for waste water treatment. The number of pages should be limited to 15. Authors can also add supplementary material and data for publication online. Topics may include, but are not exclusively limited to:
  1. Clay, zeolites, silicates, toxic heavy metals in water, waste water treatment, polymeric membrane for water purification, aquatic plants
  2. Charcoal, biomass, shell, limestone, soil filters
  3. Types of waste water, bacterial contamination, natural technologies, reuse of treated water
Aims and Scope:
  1. Waste water
  2. Natural Material
  3. Clay
  4. Zeolite
  5. Water treatment
  6. Water purification
