About This Special Issue
Nowadays, the peoples need more mobility and require more services and quality of service for communication. Thus, Ad’Hoc networks are of significant importance to ameliorate the quality of life. This kind of networks presents some problems like routing and security. Routing problems is are due to the random and rapid changes of the network topology. Security is the problem of all wireless networks since the radio frequency transmission can be easily intercepted by others.

The Vehicular Ad’hoc NETwork (VANET) is an example of Ad’Hoc networks. Effective vehicular connectivity techniques can significantly enhance the efficiency of travel, reduce traffic incidents, improve safety and then provide a more comfortable travel.

This special issue covers contributions towards Ad’Hoc Networks making particular attention on recent researches in vehicular networking technologies, and their applications.
