About This Special Issue
At this Special Issue will be offered a controller with a feedback depending on a plant’s magnitude and phase output in the event of breach of the steady-state conditions. Such a device is based on the definition of the complex argument error function (CAEF). In such controller, the proportionate magnitude error of a plant’s output would alter depending on the deviation of the output phase and would further be used to determine the control signal towards the error alteration antigradient for the complex-conjugate output of a plant. The magnitude phase controller (MPHC) prototyping results have shown its advantages in comparison to an adjusted PID controller for various plants. The next important step shall be to develop the methodology for determining the optimum MPHC gains for a closed loop at different practical applications, similar to the excitation and frequency control of the synchronous machine, fusion control and so on.
