About This Special Issue
Products of information and communication technology (ICT) influence all human activities. Realized activities are linked by default to ICT support via implemented applications and systems. There are many trends and suggestions for suitable implementation and configuration. ICT users often highly evaluate the intuitive approach and quick access to needed information. In this context, they have various roles for active searching on the Internet, download selected documents, and install needed applications. We must also remember processes that are centered on design and work with data (creation, modification) for further analysis and comparison.

The main interest of this special issue is focused on the best benefits that software engineering and applications brings into people lives through practical examples and visions. Some ICT users prefer communication support. For other users, it is the number of methods for suitable analysis, or simulation ability for better predictions. This interest is closely linked to further visions in the ICT area and needed features that bring optimal benefits. These features and visions must be developed in the future; their combinations bring a special contribution. There are a number of information technology applications that create a verified standard for the support of realized activities. The challenge is to use well-known technologies for the implementation of products in new solutions and connections. Suitable combinations of existing technologies are specified across the globe with the support of traditional and innovative methods. Such visions are oriented on further needs and expectations without any limits to space, time, and language.

In our modern society, people must resolve many difficulties from the area of business activities and competitiveness. Increasing global difficulties bring questions about the ability of their resolution with the support of software engineering and applications. These difficulties have various forms and various influences on people in different locations around the world. There is an infinite amount of solutions based on computing support. The designed special issue is oriented on the support of greater freedom for innovations and new ideas based on cooperation. These meaningful innovations and ideas bring unique benefits into everyday life.
