About This Special Issue
The International Journal of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences intend announce the Special Issue titled ‘New weather modification approaches, methods and devices’.
The weather modification methods will become important instruments to reduce negative climatic processes for today and near future. The greenhouse gases accumulation in modern atmosphere increases the average planet temperature. Hence it is necessary to find new techniques to reduce pollutions in atmosphere on the base on high level of modern scientific achievements.
The pollution in oceanic or continental water is also global problem that should be studied to search optimal methods for treatment. During recent years there were record-setting hurricane seasons in Oceans, floods, droughts and fires inside continental areas, and other environmental disasters, so series of new ideas and methods should be proposed to solve mentioned problems. Due to climate changes we have today hotter and arid summers as accomplished fact, so broader usage of active methods for atmospheric precipitation enhancement should have wide development. We especially search new articles and methods to develop a precipitation enhancement, because we consider these methods to be very much demand in the near future. In addition to it, water vapor in atmosphere together with carbon dioxide consists 95% in a mass of greenhouse gases, so precipitation enhancement could serve to atmosphere purification, clouds control and management. New ideas based on techniques approaches in wide area of natural sciences are invited in proposed Special Issue as they serve to conservation, improvement and recovery of natural resources and climate.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Climatic processes
  2. Atmosphere
  3. Precipitation enhancement
  4. Radar, Lidar, remote sensing methods
  5. Hurricanes
  6. Flooding protections
  7. Anticyclones study and control
  8. Drying out of the rivers and restore methods
  9. Pollution control
  10. New devices for atmosphere & ocean study
