About This Special Issue
In the socio-economic and political development of any nation. Construction, as an infrastructure, derives its importance as a determinant of wealth of nations because of the three of its features, which are: its large size, that it provides predominantly investment goods and its customers, which are mainly governments. Construction management has shown that it is essential to consider the matrix of infrastructure development, which includes: design, finance, technology and management, at the planning stage of any infrastructural development. Construction industry, though one of the few industries that are slow to accept change management, is gradually adopting conspicuous changes in its practice. Adoption of marketing strategy as a survival strategy is one of these. This special issue will add to the body of knowledge in infrastructural development and management by enhancing the dissemination of advanced and informed research in the field of infrastructure/construction that can meet stakeholders’ aspirations. Original research works are sought on any field of construction, construction project finance, construction management, construction materials and technology, construction project monitoring and evaluation, housing, research and development.
