About This Special Issue
This issue aims to provide an international forum for the presentation of original fundamental research, interpretative reviews and discussion of new developments in advance chemical engineering. Papers respective of nanomaterials and its applications, instrumental applications and method development which describe novel theory and its application to practice are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of techniques from other disciplines. Reports of carefully executed experimental data, which is soundly interpreted, are also welcome. The overall focus is on original and rigorous research results either on instruments or method development which have generic significance.

The issue comprises original research on chemically engineered nanomaterials, micro and macroporous materials, polymeric composites, their characterization using sophisticatedc analytical techniques and their applications in the field of water remediation including both organic and inorganic toxic waste removal, biological usability (antibacterial and antimicrobial activity), drug delivery and food chemistry.

Aims and scope:

Synthesis and characterization of Novel nanomaterials
Chemically engineered nanocomposites
Adsorption and sorption process
Waste water treatment
Method development and validation
Kinetics and equilibrium studies: Order of reactions
Photocatalysis: Dye degradation, organic pest decomposition
