About This Special Issue
The three main research directions of reciprocating piston compressor in structure, fluid and acoustic analysis affect the energy efficiency ratio, noise and reliability of the compressor. Structural analysis includes stiffness, strength and stress distribution of components; fluid analysis includes flow loss analysis of suction and exhaust mufflers, oil pump system analysis and pulsation analysis of suction and exhaust systems; acoustic analysis includes transmission loss analysis of suction and exhaust mufflers. In addition, it should be emphasized that the coupling analysis among structure, fluid and acoustics is the key to the development of efficient and miniaturized compressors in the future, including fluid-solid coupling analysis of valve assembly, fluid-solid coupling analysis of oil pump system, fluid-solid-scoustic coupling analysis of internal exhaust pipeline and so on.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Reciprocating piston compressor
  2. Fluid, structure and acoustic analysis
  3. Energy efficiency ratio
  4. Noise
  5. Reliability
  6. Fluid-Solid coupling analysis of valve assembly and oil pump system
