About This Special Issue
The distribution of power in society profoundly affects the conditions for sustainable natural resource management. When the interests of the local level are not represented in policy-making processes that take place in other spheres of power, the co-management of natural resources is not feasible in the long term. Sustainable natural resource management therefore requires the alignment of different scales of decision-making, from the local to the international level and in between. In this sense, improving the quality of the collaboration among actors at different levels can lead to the development of lasting partnerships for sustainable natural resource management.

Aims and Scope are following but not limited to

1. Co-management
2. Community based management
3. Decision making
4. Participation and sustainability
5. Governance
6. Policy and Institutional analysis
7. Adaptive Management
8. Integrated Management
