About This Special Issue
This special issue will focus on traditional Chinese legal culture. Including the evolution of early Chinese law and its interaction with society; Modern interpretation of the legal concepts and theories of the main thinkers of the axial age and the classical documents; The interaction between early law and political culture; Rule of ethics, virtue and rule of law; And so on. The core problem is to clarify: the true form of ancient Chinese legal culture; the philosophical basis of Chinese traditional legal thought; how laws in Chinese society are applied to social governance; how to view and use Chinese traditional legal culture nowadays.
