About This Special Issue
This special issue represents the application of new digital media and technologies to language teaching and learning. This issue aims to provide relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest empirical research findings on the topic of Computer Assisted Language Learning and Teaching (CALLT). We anticipate that this issue will provide a relevant resource for educators, school-district administrators, educational and public-library/media specialists, language teachers and specialists, legislators, and social and education policy makers when considering funding, adopting, and implementing new technologies in language classrooms.
