Abstract: A game model is designed to analyze the relation between employee’s ability structure and enterprise’s incentive structure. And some factors’ impaction on incentive structure is analyzed, such as employee’s ability, risk aversion, output error, and product price. The intrinsic mechanism of employee classification according to their ability level is also analyzed. The result reveals that under competitive working environment employee’s ability level should be kept consistent, employee with different ability levels can’t be classified by themselves, and piece rates should be kept direct ratio to employee’s ability level and product’s market trend. Although strict balanced incentive structure comprises of fixed wage and prize or promotion, balanced conditions can not usually be satisfied in real situation, so that fixed wage, piece rate wage, and prize or promotion should be combined to form a suitable proportion structure. Prize or promotion mechanism will strengthen the steepness degree of incentive structure, which will strengthen incentive effect under the condition of employee’s participation restriction.

Abstract: Taking the 146 related-party technological cooperation announcements by Chinese listed companies from January 2008 to July 2013 as the sample, the article investigates the impact of the focal firms’ intellectual capital and cooperation frequency between related parties on the focal firms’ stock prices reactions. The empirical results indicate that focal firms involved in related-party technological cooperation receive strongly positive abnormal returns over the event window of (-1). We show that the cooperation announcements may bring positive stock prices reactions if the focal firms show a higher level of intellectual capital. In addition, our findings suggest that more cooperative activities between related parties may bring positive effects on the stock prices reactions for the focal firms.

Abstract: The intention of the article is to explore whether different rating announcements on sukuk issuance provide any supplementary information to market for the years 2004-2011 in Malaysia. Data collected from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bloomberg database. This research classifies the sukuk ratings from highest to poor quality. The investigation exercises event study methodology using cumulative average abnormal return (CAAR) on symmetric and asymmetric performances based on the reaction of the FTSE Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FTSEKLCI) to the news of sukuk issuance. The results designate positive and significant asymmetric reactions on sukuk issuance. The market responds positively and significantly to the announcements of sukuk for the rating of high-quality, excellent and good ratings. Abstract: This paper aims at determining the critical factors affecting the profitability of the tourism sector in Greece, by using data for an extensive panel of Greek tourism enterprises for 2005-2011 period. As the Greek economy is still in a deep and prolonged recession, exploring profitability issues in specific sectors could help identify those sectors which could act as drivers of growth for the Greek economy out of the recession. The tourism sector, which accounts for almost 25% of GDP in Greece (directly and indirectly), is an obvious candidate for contributing to this end. The econometric results suggest that the recent crisis has resulted to a differentiation of the determinants of profitability of Greek tourism firms.

Abstract: Tourism can play an important role in accelerating the economic growth of Bangladesh. This study tries to address the tourism sector of Bangladesh from sustainability viewpoint. The study selects four tourist spots in the south-west region of Bangladesh to address the study objective and collects primary data from the tourists of the selected spots through using interview schedule. Accordingly, it tries to trace out the prevailing situation of the tourist spots. It also attempts to trace out the factors determining the probability of future trip generation towards the spots. The study findings indicate that travel time, travel cost and travel distance negatively influence the probability of future trip generation. Similarly, married people are less interested to revisit the tourist spots. However, environmental consciousness campaign and existing resource caring initiatives of the spot authority have a positive impact on trip generation possibility. An opinion survey reveals that the tourists value the prevailing resource caring activities and environmental consciousness campaign which attracts them to revisit the spots. However, the tourists poorly rank the ecotourism maintaining effort and pollution protective mechanism in the spots. Therefore, an integrated approach towards maintaining and uplifting the efforts towards sustainable tourism management might contribute towards long run stability of the tourism sector.

Abstract: Greece is considered to be one of the most popular worldwide tourism destinations, since it is ranked in the 15th position of the world host countries for the year 2015. Despite the industry’s dynamism, inherent weaknesses of Greek tourism products, such as seasonality, geographical distribution, saturation of popular island areas and tourist products single cultivation, are an obstacle to the areas’ sustainable development. Repositioning of Greek tourism in the international market may take place by utilizing alternative forms of thematic tourism. Scuba diving as an alternative tourism form may be a relevant and a decisive development factor and may offer the advantage of innovation by creating new tourism products. In this current study the development prospects of diving tourism through the creation of a diving center in Peloponnese’s Pavlopetri, the oldest submerged city in the world, have expanded. The prehistoric city of the Early Bronze Age can highlight the area as a new tourism destination and win the attributed share of the market. For imprinting the current situation and for developing a strategic plan, S. W. O. T. Analysis was conducted, which is considered to be a tool that analyzes the internal and external environment and reflects to the potential strengths and weaknesses of Pavlopetri as well as the opportunities and potential threats that exist in the tourism industry environment in the wider region of Peloponnese. Furthermore, interviews of the areas’ institutional and professional authorities support the opinion that there could be multiple benefits from the sustainable development of the region, through the creation of a thematic diving park, the protection of remarkable prehistoric characteristics and through the promotion of the cultural heritage. In conclusion, it is supported that as the global market continuously seeks differentiated tourism products, the Peloponnese region can become a quality tourism destination, highlighting different ways of tourism approach through scuba diving and sports recreation activities.
