About This Special Issue
Exploration of many metallic ore deposits is related to alteration zones but this subject has allocated less attention by researchers.
According to research, alteration zone has geochemical variations that are sensitive and special, so studying of geochemical characters leads to important information.
Study of Rare earth elements in alteration zone has close link with exploring of metallic ore deposits.
In fact, systematic survey of mineralogy and geochemistry in alteration zone without any drilling or geophysical exploration helps to find potential of mineralization in subsurface ore deposits and mineralized veins. In my point of view, this method is modern way because it can decrease exploration costs and it helps to predict drilling points in short time.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Determination of physico- chemical condition for formation of different metallic or non- metallic ore deposits
  2. Professional mineral processing by apply of converse geochemistry
  3. Consideration of dispersion of different metal in alteration zone
  4. Reconstruction of types of forming ore body
  5. Presentation of accuracy methodology for mine exploration
  6. Relationship between different types of alteration and their formation environments
