About This Special Issue
Differential diagnosis of pathologies involving the bones of the Craniomaxillofacial complex can be quite challenging, owing to overlapping of Histopathological characteristics and similarities in Radiographic and Computed Tomographic appearances. A careful correlation of History of the bony lesion, Clinical and Biologic features of the pathology as well as use of adjunctive measures such as SPECT bone scans and employment of Immunohistochemistry as a diagnostic marker and prognostic marker can be of immense value in reaching a conclusive and definitive diagnosis of ambiguous lesions. This is imperative to institute the most appropriate treatment protocol in order to achieve the most ideal outcome.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Craniomaxillofacial Skeleton
  2. Bone Pathology
  3. Unilocular Radiolucency
  4. Multilocular Radiolucency
  5. Fibro-osseous Lesions
  6. Odontogenic Cysts and Tumors
