Abstract: This paper presents the modeling of the energy conversion equations describing the total power generated by a hybrid system of biomass-CHP (Combined Heat and Power) and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC). A numerical model based upon the aforementioned conservation equations was developed, coded and results were analyzed. The model is intended to be used as an optimization and design tool for typical Biomass-CHP systems.
