Abstract: Seed storage duration is a critical issue to be considered for different seed producer and the postharvest quality of legume seeds is strongly influenced by storage conditions. Maintaining the quality of seed is depend on many environmental factors, some of them are moisture, temperature, humidity, and storage conditions. Even though these factors are properly accounted for seed, quality may still be reduced by certain seed borne diseases or destroyed by insects and other pests. This study was conducted to evaluate the combination effect of seed dressing and storage time on Chalew variety of faba bean. Five different fungicide were used to dress the seed (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 and F0 as control) and three storage duration (M0, M6 and M12) were used to determine the seed quality attribute’s under laboratory. RCBD design in factorial arrangement with three replication was used. Statistix 10 software was used for data Analysis. The mean square revealed that seed dressing had significant difference on seed quality attributes like (MC, HLW, Shoot length, Fresh weight and dry weight of seed ling and highly significant difference on Germination (%) and Root length of the seedling, while it had no significant variation on TSW. The storage duration possessed significant variation on MC and Fresh weight of seedling while showed highly significant variation was observed for Germination (%), and Root length of seedling and no significant variation for other seed quality attributes. Significant variation was observed on MC and seed germination while highly significant differences observed on % dead seeds due use combination of storage duration and fungicide treatment. Dynamic 400 FS can sustain the Germination ability and vigor indexI&II of the faba bean followed by Mancozabe 80Wp and proseed plus63WS among the fungicide used.

Abstract: Bread wheat is one of the most important cereal crops produced and consumed in Ethiopia. But every production could not generate seed because seed is a living entity that need maximum care and required a serious of management procedures to fit minimum quality standard. Bread wheat seed production is the leading crops tested by both abiotic and biotic factors which reduce seed quality. Kulumsa Agricultural seed researcher’s team is yearly testing quality of their seeds both at field and laboratory. The present study was carried out on Fifteen (15) breeder seeds and Twelve (12) pre-basic class a total of 27 bread wheat after Harvesting and post cleaning by Using RCBD design under laboratory. Seed germination (%), Moisture content (%), Seed physical purity (%) and thousands seed weight (TSW) were the quality parameters. data collected were Subjected to Analysis of variances by using SAS 9.3 software to confirm all varieties fit minimum seed quality standard or not. Analysis of variance revealed that there is a significant variation among treatments for seed purity, inert matter, TSW, HLW, MC and Germination (%) while no significant variation for other quality traits. The mean square of all the treatment revealed that they fit above minimum standard which is guides the all seeds had good input for Production and productivity.

Abstract: Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide perspective for those who will study Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) by a bibliographic analysis of postgraduate theses on disease. Materials and methods: The study group of the research consisted of 80 postgraduate theses written in Türkiye and indexed in the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center database between January 1, 2000 and April 20, 2022, with the keywords 'Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever' and ‘CCHF’. Content analysis and descriptive analysis (frequency analysis) methods were used together in the study. SPSS was used to analyze the study's data and create graphics. The general characteristics of the categorical groups were summarized as numbers and percentages. The theses are examined under six sub-headings: year, institution, departments, thesis level samples, research subjects, and written language. Results: Looking at the distribution by years; the largest number of theses was published between 2014 and 2017 years. Theses of 77 (96%) were written at university and three (4%) at Ankara Training and Research Hospital. Sivas Cumhuriyet University was the institution that produced the most theses (30%). The highest number of theses were at the level of specialization in medicine (45%). In the content analysis, clinical research studies (76%) were the most and only two of them were about the treatment and vaccine. The dominant writing language was Turkish (95%). Conclusion: According to the content of the theses, the number of studies on the pathogenesis and clinic of the disease draws attention, while only a few theses were written about the treatment and vaccine. The theses on CCHF, which is a health problem, especially for the people of Central Anatolia, need to be increased both in content and numerically.
