Abstract: Pulsation motion of Newton liquid in flat channels has begun to be investigated as a result of the development of the liquid mechanics. The function of the pressure gradient due to time is given on mathematic modeling of pulsation motion of liquid and as a result, the rest of dimension mill be defined in relating to time. While investigating the process of Navier-Stokes, it is made lazier incessant equation according to the usage of their replacement of the tasks. For this, the terms, which are given in the systems of the equations are transformed into new dimensions and the value of the terms, which are contrasted with each other is defined in the system of equation. The terms, which have acquired boundless small quantity is omitted without counting. This article discusses the pulsating fluid flows in the flat tube. Here it is determined the dependency of the speed of the pulsating movement of fluid on the vibration parameter.

Abstract: The world wide need for the economical and excellent quality composite materials have promoted research in the field of composite materials. Among the metal based composite materials, aluminum matrix based composites have high strength, light weight, low cost and high wear resistance. So they are produced and used widely in structural applications, aerospace and automobile industries. Aluminum matrix composites were produced by varying weight % age of carbon fibers. Carbon fibers were electroless nickel coated. Stir casting has been used to incorporate carbon fibers into the molten melt. The composition of all 4 castings was same but the length of carbon fibers was changed as 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm respectively. Nickel coating produces high dispersion and stiffness due to precipitation of Al-Ni intermetallics. The mechanical and electrical properties of samples were analyzed. Mechanical testing has been performed by tensile testing, Microvickers hardness testing and Charpy Impact testing. Electrical property has been recorded by current voltage measurements. Mechanical properties have been improved by increasing wt% of reinforcement. By increasing voltage values current values also increases.

Abstract: The greatest common standard for the expertise of testing and calibration laboratories has recently been bring up to date, considering the newest improvements in laboratory environment and work practices. ISO/IEC 17025:2017, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, is the international reference for laboratories implementing calibration and testing actions through the globe. This article gives a short review on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and its related data which are increasingly produced every day in the laboratory and suggests Big Data as a fundamental tool of treating such data. ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is gaining a huge part in laboratory legal status and activities; in its side, Big Data is reaching high level of mastery and expansion. On the other hand, there is a huge amount of data around and inside laboratory everyday activities. Besides the experimental and analytical results, there are findings from its financial management. Therefore, Big Data through its enormous capabilities of managing details would imbricate ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The near future would provide more details of how will be the final figure of this intersection.

Abstract: Italian Health Ministry established by regulation the minimum requirements for laboratories intending to perform asbestos analysis and the organization of a quality control scheme to which the laboratories must refer. Three proficiency testing schemes for asbestos detection in bulk materials using polarized light microscopy (PLM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) were developed according to the regulation of Health Ministry. The schemes were organized in rounds. In each round the laboratory received one batch of 4 samples. The participant laboratories were 475. The performance of laboratory as satisfactory, unsatisfactory or awaiting classification. The samples of the rounds were real world materials from abatement project and might contain any of the asbestos types. Ceiling-tile containing vitreous fibers caused the highest frequency of false positive; 87% of errors incurred in FTIR and 60% in XRD. Vinyl-floor tiles caused most false negative; 100% of errors incurred in PLM in the second pilot program, 13% in FTIR and 10% in XRD. One of the main factors causing variability of results turned out to be related to the skill of the analysts. Training and experience of the analysts help to get a reliable and reproducible asbestos analysis.

Abstract: Hardness, of wheat grains, is one of the most important quality characteristics used in wheat classification and determination of its marketing value. So, the key objective of this investigation applies a non-destructive method like infrared technique as an alternative method of destructive methods to assess hardness of wheat grains. The hardness characteristic was measured by two destructive methods Single-Kernel Characterization System (SKCS) and Instron Universal Testing Machine (IUTM), as reference values. Infrared technique was used to develop NIR calibration and validation model using the partial least squares (PLS) regression to assess wheat grain hardness. The best calibration and validation model for assess hardness of wheat grains were observed throughout the reference method Instron Universal Testing Machine (IUTM) within the wavelength range 950 to 1650 nm with 6 principal components (PCs) and pretreatment by Savitzky-Golay second derivative (S.G. 2nd). Where, the optimum PLS was recorded at the lowest standard error of prediction (SEP) 3.92 N with the maximum value of coefficient of prediction (R2P ≈ 0.91) and sufficient value of the relative prediction deviation (RPD ≈ 3.35). The accuracy of the prediction model was sufficient to use NIRS technique as a nondestructive method to estimate hardness of wheat grains for different varieties of the wheat.

Abstract: Up to now, in the carbon industry, there is no uniform standard for the detection of chaser. In order to set up this standard the different method from each carbon company should be studied and then find out the commonalities. In the magazine CARBON TECHNIQUES No. 4, 2015, article «Discussion on detecting technology of chaser for graphite electrode machining» Zhang Baoyi of Jilin Carbon Co., Ltd. has made a detailed description of the conventional testing methods for chaser which is used in graphite electrode processing. However, due to the difference between the detection methods and parameters of the chaser in the carbon enterprises, this paper based on Kaifeng carbon company's current test specification and discussed the difference part from the original paper. This paper through analyzed the differences of two method which used in Kaifeng Carbon Co., and in the original paper, combined with the mathematical tools to discuss of the geometric meaning of measuring parameters, finally found that most parameters in both methods are same and the rest have the same geometric meaning, for another word the parameters as the representative item and other parameters can be obtained by calculations. But which are the most representative parameters are considered different from carbon companies in carbon industry.
