Abstract: Language learning aims to empower students with linguistic skills and the ability to utilize those skills to communicate with others. While research on linguistic anxiety has been conducted regarding global languages, the emotional aspects of language learning have received less attention compared to the cognitive aspects. Therefore, exploring the emotional factors in language acquisition is necessary to understand the difficulties faced by learners. Linguistic anxiety, a major aspect of language learning, plays a vital role in the acquisition process. Specifically, anxiety related to foreign language education is a relatively recent area of focus in educational psychology. In this study, the researcher used an experimental approach to examine the impact of a program utilizing direct learning strategies for French language education on anxiety levels. The study focused specifically on second-year secondary school students and skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The program incorporates strategies to improve French vocabulary acquisition and subsequently reduce linguistic anxiety amongst this cohort. These strategies include: the guessing strategy, concept mapping, and summarization, they aim to enhance the learners' vocabulary and linguistic abilities, which may contribute to diminished linguistic anxiety. The core research problem in this study aims to address is the notably high levels of French learning-related anxiety amongst secondary school students. Foreign language education plays an important role in broader educational research, as it facilitates access to diverse cultures worldwide. Additionally, existing research has enabled the identification of linguistic anxiety levels amongst students learning French specifically.

Abstract: Thanks to technological advances, companies are increasingly shifting their Information Technology (IT) workloads to the cloud. These advances can be summarized in three environments: the use of virtualization, the use of physical devices and the use of cloud computing. In the academic environment, the use of cloud computing brings enormous advantages as a tool for carrying out virtual laboratories, therefore, the objective of this project is to investigate one of the aspects of cloud computing, called Infrastructure. as a Service (IaaS), creating a prototype with Openstack that enables the investigation of this technology, examining its advantages and disadvantages, in the same way, of proposing it as a tool for the Los Libertadores University Foundation that allows students their professional growth, which includes the basic requirements for the development of laboratory practices with services such as virtualization of operating systems, storage, development of programs, among others. According to what was previously stated, the main function is to manage those virtual machines with the tools available to reduce the physical resource of the institution taking into account its infrastructure through the public cloud, managing and configuring OpenStack environments for end users. The article is the result of research where measures of use will be established with the different technological tools that it offers us for its development and control.

Abstract: This article aims to provide an overview of the application of machine translation technology in the field of legal translation, exploring its potential, challenges, and future directions. Firstly, it reviews the development process of machine translation technology, including rule-based methods, statistical machine translation, and the application of deep learning methods. Secondly, on the basis of in-depth deconstruction of the operating rules of the big language model, it is demonstrated that the highly modeled written legal language is highly consistent with the underlying logic of the big language model because of its standardization, accuracy and de-contextualization, so compared with other styles, machine translation technology will achieve better translation results in the field of legal translation. In addition, multimodal technology can also be applied to court interpretation, which greatly alleviates the shortage of qualified interpreters and maintains judicial justice. Furthermore, it discusses the human-machine collaborative model in legal translation, emphasizing the importance of human proofreading and review in ensuring translation accuracy and reliability. Lastly, it summarizes the prospects and challenges of machine translation technology in the field of legal translation. Through a systematic review and analysis of relevant literature, this article reveals the immense potential of machine translation technology in legal translation. It can significantly enhance the efficiency and quality of legal translation, thereby enhancing the capacity of legal language services.

Abstract: Digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation are the levels and stages of digital technology application development. Digital transformation involves using digital data and technology to fundamentally and comprehensively change all aspects of socio-economic life, reshaping the way work is done and relationships are formed in society. Digital transformation in Vietnam is taking place in many fields such as commerce, tourism, business, finance, and education. Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training has policies, regulations, and programs to promote digital transformation in the industry, from nurse-school education, primary education, secondary education, high school education, vocational education, and higher education. This paper employs quantitative research methods to construct a model investigating the factors influencing digital transformation in the education sector in Vietnam through surveys of educational managers, lecturers, and learners. From data collected with 193 valid responses, using SPSS.22 to process data analyze data, and formulate regression equations the study identified five factors influencing digital transformation in the higher education sector in Vietnam, including Infrastructure resources, Information technology, and the Internet, Government policies, Human Resources, and Readiness for Digital Transformation. The study proposes a few recommendations to relevant parties such as the government, universities, and learners in building and operating digital transformation in teaching and learning at universities.

Abstract: This study investigates the impact of teacher gender and school type on the attitudes and academic performance of female high school students in mathematics. Utilizing a sample of 262 final-year high school girls and 10 mathematics teachers from both mixed-gender and single-sex schools in the Sunyani West District located in Ghana, the study employs surveys and achievement tests to gather quantitative data. Statistical analyses reveal several key findings. Male and female teachers shared similar beliefs regarding female students in general. Significant differences emerged in perceptions of students' mathematical abilities. Girls taught by male teachers exhibited lower anxiety levels (t (260) > 1.96, p < 0.05) and higher self-confidence (t (260) > 1.96, p < 0.05) in mathematics compared to those taught by female teachers. Additionally, mixed-gender schools fostered more positive attitudes towards mathematics among female students compared to single-sex schools (t (260) > 1.96, p < 0.05). There were positive correlations observed between students' attitudes towards mathematics and their academic performance, highlighting the importance of teacher-student relationships in shaping students' perceptions and achievements in mathematics. These findings underscore the need for inclusive teaching practices and the recruitment of qualified mathematics educators to support the academic success of female students in mathematics. Future research could explore the disparate treatment of male and female students in mathematics classrooms and investigate effective pedagogical strategies to promote equitable learning outcomes.

Abstract: The study investigated digital preservation and curation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated content for sustainable library operations in university libraries, 3 research questions and 3 hypotheses were used for the study. The population comprised of 193 Librarians from thirteen (13) university libraries in South-South and South-East, Nigeria. The random sampling technique was used to select a sample size of 116 Librarians in the 13 universities representing 60% of the population. A 15-item questionnaire was used for data collection. Cronbach alpha statistics was used to obtain 0.74 reliability. Mean/standard deviation was used for research questions and z-test statistics was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The result amongst others revealed that, some of the challenges faced by University libraries in the preservation and curation of AL generated content are ethical and bias considerations that deals with fairness, accountability and transparency, legal and intellectual property issues, data privacy and security and more. One of the strategies to preserve and curate AI generated content is the storage of multiple copies of AI-generated content in geographically distributed locations to curb situation that would lead to loss of data due to hardware failures and many others. It was recommended that, government in collaboration with university management should provide necessary infrastructure and facilities, upgrade and update existing ones to enable the preservation and curation of AI generated content for the sustenance of digital library operation in academic libraries.
