Abstract: This study aim is to learn how to apply mathematical values to mathematics learning. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and objects that discuss one of the mathematics teachers who teach at one of the junior high schools in Bandung. In general, the problem of education in Indonesia is mathematical values that are difficult to understand, mathematics learning and character education are taught separately in the world of education. As character education was obtained from religious education and PKN (Citizenship Education), therefore, the development of student character was the responsibility of religious teachers and PKN teachers. This is contrary to the nature of mathematics. The results showed that, of the ten values highlighted in this study, only some were applied by the teacher. As rationalism that is not applied is the accent on mathematical proof, indicator of openness the teacher does not civilize the giving of opinions on student answers, not allowed to develop creative ideas such as making posters and uploading on social media. And the persisting indicator, learning does not emphasize problem-solving in a different way. The teacher focuses on the student's weaknesses and the teacher’s mastery of the core of values of mathematics has not been deep.

Abstract: We will present here the Scientific Knowledge Theory (SKT) along with one of its possible research methodologies, that is, together with concept mapping as an algorithmic language (CMA). That is, at the moment that a given author produces a given text or hypertext, to be this an educational text, a report, an article or scientific text it "materializes" as a set of ideas, hypotheses, explanatory models, theory and/or experimental facts in a written form, implied in its most general form. In this moment we have the occurrence of an "educational fact." It is proposed here that a theory of Scientific Knowledge Transposition or Didactic Transposition, provided with a research methodology and based on pedagogical facts constitutes a branch of the social sciences. That this new theory, the "Theory of Scientific Knowledge", can be easily generalized to other forms of knowledge. Its basis will be formulated on the sciences of physics and mathematics. As an application we will study the structure of knowledge of Max Planck's theory of Blackbody Radiation and how it is transposed to the various educational levels.

Abstract: Exam cheating practice is one of the most bottlenecks in Ethiopian education system in general and Debre Markos University Burie Campus in particular. Complaints on devastating increase of exam cheating practice has been heard from different corners in the country including the apex of Ministry of Education, which is the core owners, teachers, students and school managers from elementary schools to higher education institutions. As a result, it is necessary to tackle such type of problem in order to improve the quality of education. Hence, an action research was undertaken in 2019 in first year students of management department Human Resource Management course so as to reduce exam cheating problems by identifying the different exam cheating methods, contributing factors for cheating and developing a strategy how to minimize such types of malpractice. The study was conducted by employing purposive sampling technique with well-prepared lakert scale and semi-structured questionnaires for students and the department staff instructors as well. Both primary & secondary data were incorporated. For this study 60 first year management students and 8 instructors were considered as the key respondents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics after properly encoded by SPSS software. Regarding to the exam cheating prevalence, 73.3% of respondents were confessed that cheating practice was common in first year management students. The major contributing factors that provoked students’ academics dishonest were hard exam, fear of failure, time pressure, competition with others, peer pressure, poor understanding of the exam question, demanding high score, high grade and over crowed exam room. Moreover, the study also identified the most frequently cheating strategies of written exam were sheet cribs, writing on their body, looking at another answer sheet, signals/gesture, using unauthorized materials, whisper/undertone and medical reason. In order to reduce exam cheating practice close supervision during the exam process, effective class room management, punishment, ensure effective teaching and learning process, used coded exam type, advise the students properly to use their time effectively, provide clear examination rule and enable them to prepared for exam well were a paramount strategies that will bring an improvement for quality education and cheating reduction..

Abstract: Avialabiliity of stable internet link in institution of learning has become a thing of concern in developing nations like Nigeria. Exchange Point Network approach were used in this study in designing an Inter- Campus Wide Area Network-Based for Optimal Routing. The internetwork system connected five (5) campuses in Imo State Nigeria which includes Federal University of Technology Owerri, Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo state Polytechnic Umugawo. Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education and Imo State University Owerri. They institutions have challages ranges from the cost of internet subscription, maitainance of network facilites, electricity challenges amongst others. This work makes use of the internet exchange point (IXP) technology to design and simulate a typical exchangepoint network for tertiary institution in Imo state Nigeria and to establish the best routing protocols. Five institutions where considered and their networks modeled. Three routing protocols RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF where considered during the simulation and it was established that RIP provided a convergence time that is within 3 and 4 seconds, with slightly varied spikes of not up to 10 seconds. OSPF and EIGRP also tries to maintain a time of between 3 and 4 seconds but is plagued with so much spikes of up 20 seconds for EIGRP and 17 seconds for OSPF.

Abstract: The study investigated the perception of teachers towards school supervision at the basic school level in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region of Ghana. The research question was how teachers in the Hohoe Municipality perceived school supervision as basis for classroom instruction. The study used the descriptive survey design to explore the perception of teachers towards instructional supervision. The proportional sampling, purposive and simple random sampling techniques were employed in selecting 200 respondents for the study, comprising 150 teachers, 40 headteachers and 10 circuit supervisors. The survey covered 20 basic schools in the Hohoe Municipality. A questionnaire was constructed to collect data. Data were analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The study revealed that some teachers perceived school supervision as a mere fault–finding mission and interference in their duties as well as an opportunity to settle personal scores with supervisees. That notwithstanding, other teachers view supervision as an efficient way of enhancing their professional development and an activity basically pointing to the holistic improvement of teaching and learning process. The study recommended that supervisors should not use supervision as fault finding mission but rather fact finding. Teachers should see supervisors as critical partners who complement their roles. Also workshops and seminars should be organized periodically to sensitize teachers on the usefulness of supervision in an effort to curb the negative impression some of them may have about it.
