A Meta-analysis of the Impact of Gamification of Learning on Learning Outcomes in Science Education: Based on 34 Experimental and Quasi-experimental Studies

Abstract: As a new teaching method to enhance students' learning experience and motivation, gamification of learning has attracted the attention of educators. However, it is not completely certain that gamification of learning can improve students' learning outcomes. Therefore, in order to explore the impact of gamification of learning on learning outcomes in science education, this study used a meta-analysis to sort out and quantitatively analyze the results of 34 experimental and quasi experimental studies, and explore the effect of gamification of learning from the overall effect, discipline, intervention time and other aspects. The results show that: (1) Compared with traditional teaching methods, gamification of learning has played a more moderate role in promoting the learning outcomes of science education. (2) Gamification of learning has a high degree of promotion effect on declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge, and there is no significant difference, but it only has a medium degree of promotion effect on the retention of knowledge. (3) The influence of gamification of learning on learning outcomes in science education is affected by class size, experimental intervention time and other regulatory variables. (4) The influence of two kinds of regulatory variables, namely, the way of gamafication and discipline, on scientific learning outcomes cannot be completely determined, and the results should be treated with caution.

Abstract: After China's comprehensive poverty alleviation in 2020, key villages for rural revitalization have become key areas of follow-up rural revitalization work. Objective analysis of KAVRR (Key Assistance Villages for Rural Revitalization) poverty geographical pattern, and verify whether there is a spatial coupling relationship between poverty pattern and geographical environment, so as to further consolidate the space coupling connection between targeted poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. In this paper, 2307 KAVRRs published by Hunan Provincial Poverty Alleviation Office were selected as the research objects. The spatial distribution of key KAVRR was quantitatively analyzed from three aspects. The coupling relationship between KAVRR spatial pattern and geographical environment was verified from six aspects. Draw the following conclusions: 1) The nearest neighbor index of KAVRR in Hunan province is 0.82, indicating obvious spatial aggregation. At the municipal level, changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan tended to be uniformly distributed, while other cities tended to be agglomerated. 2) The spatial distribution of KAVRR varies in different urban areas. More than 60% of KAVRR is concentrated in Shaoyang, Huaihua, Xiangxi Tujia Autonomous Prefecture, Yongzhou and Loudi. 3) In the analysis of influencing factors, the geographical location characteristics of KAVRR, hydrological conditions, geographical location characteristics, accessibility of public service facilities, such as education and medical resources, are highly coupled with the spatial distribution of assistance. Different influencing factors have different influencing mechanisms, but the final spatial layout is the result of interaction and coupling of geographical environment elements.

Abstract: In the economic exchanges and cooperation among countries, financial texts play an important role in transmitting information. In the post-epidemic era, countries have joined hands to fight the epidemic, and the pace of globalization has not only not slowed down, but accelerated the process of cooperation, as well as the economic exchanges between countries have become more and more frequent. In response to the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, more and more Chinese enterprises are gradually going global. Therefore, the demand for translation of financial texts is increasing day by day. In economic activities, it is very important to be able to understand and translate financial texts accurately. This paper studies the translation strategies of financial texts by selecting the World Bank's industry reports and using the Catford‘s Translation Shifts Theory as the guiding theory. A combination of citing theory, analyzing example sentences and describing the translation process is used to explore the hierarchical and category shifts that occur in the process of English-Chinese translation, so as to explain the guiding role of Catford‘s Translation Shifts Theory in the process of English-Chinese translation. It provides an in-depth verification of the important guiding role of translation transition theory for English-Chinese translation of financial texts, and provides some reference for translators of financial information-based texts.

Abstract: With the continuous development of science and technology, the popularity of prison security video surveillance system is getting higher and higher. The prison security management department needs to use more advanced and intelligent technology to identify these information when facing massive video images. From the development history of AI technology and the application status of related technologies, the innovative application of AI technology in smart prisons and the application of intelligent security system in prison security management as examples, this paper puts forward the research significance of AI technology in prison security management, and analyzes the necessity of adopting AI technology in prison security management and its results. Through the application of AI intelligent camera, face recognition technology, UAV and other advanced technologies in intelligent supervision, and the analysis of different perimeter control scenarios, it is concluded that the AI analysis system with intelligent synchronous early warning function makes prison information collection more convenient, information recognition more intelligent, and improves the efficiency of prison information collection. Abstract: Profitability is an important embodiment of the financial competitiveness and operating performance of enterprises, and the capital structure affects the profitability of enterprises by affecting the solvency and operating ability of enterprises. The optimization of capital structure is the key way to improve the profitability of enterprises. China's sports industry, as an emerging industry, has shown a rapid growth momentum. The total output value of the sports industry has exceeded 3 trillion yuan in 2021, which will play an increasingly important role in promoting economic development. Studying the correlation between the capital structure and profitability of sports enterprises is of great significance to the development of the sports industry. This paper selects 10 A-share listed sports enterprises in China from 2017 to 2021 as the research object, and establishes regression model to empirically analyze the impact of asset structure of sports listed companies on profitability based on the analysis of the financial status of sports listed companies. The research results show that the proportion of current assets, fixed assets and inventory of sports industry listed companies is not significantly related to profitability, while the proportion of monetary capital is positively related to profitability, and the growth rate of total assets also has a positive role in promoting the improvement of corporate profitability. The research results of this paper show that the stronger the liquidity of the assets of sports enterprises and the expansion of the asset scale have an obvious effect on the improvement of the profitability of enterprises, which provides a reference for Chinese sports enterprises to optimize the asset structure and improve the profitability.
