Abstract: This article proposes a model for predicting student success and well-being (dependent variables) at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, Social Work, Almere, the Netherlands. This model is based on a international literature review. This model consists of two predictive components (independent variables), namely secure attachment and a positive sense of belonging (to the University of Applied Sciences and its learning communities). Attachment will be measured through a Belgian standardized questionnaire. Belonging, on the other hand, through standardized OECD questions. COVID-19 is a covariate (a control variable that might affect the outcome). COVID-19 is measured through a Dutch Municipal or Community Health Service (GGD) questionnaire. Due to the lockdowns in the Netherlands, face-to-face education at Universities of Applied sciences and Dutch Universities was no longer provided. Education was online. Online, teachers cannot convey to their students that they belong and that students are cared for by them. This model distinguishes between Western and non-Western conceptions of belonging. This is done because most students are from non-Western countries and teachers are mostly from the Netherlands. Apart from the above, this model also assumes that students' sense of belonging is influenced by the directors and CEO’s of this University of Applied sciences. Teachers can give students a sense of belonging when their executives and boards of directors (CEOs) also care about them.

Abstract: The view that society is an organic whole has been widely accepted that society is not a collection of individual individuals or a simple sum, but a community of various groups linked by specific relationships and ties. In the social organism, the elements that make up the society depend on and coordinate with each other, at the same time, there are contradictions and conflicts. Social conflict is a characteristic "morbidity" of modern industrial society, therefore, the ability to reconcile various contradictions and conflicts of interest is an important condition for the sound functioning and development of a society, and any society is faced with the task of social integration. In Western societies, social integration is regarded as the process of social integration or the ultimate state of this process. The British philosopher Herbert Spencer introduced the concept of social integration, arguing that at a late stage of social evolution, society had become so complex that it was impossible for each sector to adjust itself, and that "social integration" was needed to perform the function of coordination and control within society. Social integration is a state of differentiation and unification of different sectors of a country, which includes the social coordination of differences. Emile Durkheim systematically studies social integration, distinguishing two types of social integration, namely mechanical solidarity based on socio-cultural homogeneity and organic solidarity based on complementary roles and mutual commitment. In the light of the Anomie of social order in the development of human society, social scientists and Marxism used different methods and tools to investigate and put forward solutions to the problem. Comte advocates the use of science and natural law to achieve social integration. Durkheim highlights and emphasizes social consensus. Coser advocates releasing hostility through social safety valves. Parsons proposes to maintain the basic values and norms shared by members of society to avoid socially divisive conflicts. The use of ideology for social integration has worked well in some cases and has not been effective in others. Ultimately, the root causes of conflict must be analyzed through socio-economic relationships, drawing on various integration theories and tailoring the remedy to the specific situation in order to achieve the goal of effective social integration.

Abstract: Purpose of this study was to clarifying the relationship structures with social values of complex sports and positive thought under today's COVID-19 social anxiety by neural networks and network-centric analysis. The Value items were the terminal ones (benevolence, equality, accomplishment, global stability, hope for future, proud country, family bond etc.) and the instrumental ones (consistent, creative, light hearted, honest, ambition, creative, polite, etc.). The subjects (university students; n = 221) received an explanation of the study’s structure and of various sports-related benevolent activities such as donations, charity matches and voluntary disaster relief activities. Next, they were asked, ‘What types of values do you recognize in benevolent sports activities in world-wide health anxiety under COVID-19 pandemic?’ Neural network model, random forest model and correspondence analysis were executed and discussed some relation structure of societal human values of sport with the positive thoughts under COVID-19 pandemic. Current study shows the possibility of supporting the understanding of the complex, gradual, transitive, and central structures of diverse sport values by approaching network analysis. As a result, it was clarified that the social wisdom of these sports would be a desire to support the survival of the physical society more creatively. Under the social unrest in the advanced information society, the importance of tactile communities such as sports was confirmed.

Abstract: For the purpose of enhancing sanction and deterrence effects, many scholars support the establishment of punitive damages involving public welfare in china. Because this legislative proposition involves a paradox and many conundrums yet to be resolved, this paper holds a negative attitude towards it. As an alternative, China can use the improved administrative fines and the criminal fine penalty to fully protect public welfare. Theoretically, civil public interest litigation (CPIL) should be divided into two categories: the pure civil public interest litigation (PCPIL) and non pure civil public interest litigation (Non-PCPIL). The former consists of CPIL involving indivisible public interests and CPIL involving unspecified large number of harmed private interests; The latter consists of diffusive CPIL and composite CPIL. In terms of law application, there is an “overlapping relationship” between CPIL involving unspecified large number of harmed private interests and composite CPIL. Only PCPIL involves the question of whether to use the proposed system of punitive damages for harmed public interest, or the improved administrative fines and the criminal fine penalty to attain the legal effects of sanction and deterrence. The so-called improved administrative fines is actually an administrative penalty combination composed of large sum fines, continuously calculated daily fines, the system of double fines, the system of both fines and confiscation as well as other administrative penalty measures. As the premise of offsetting administrative fines and criminal fine penalty, the connecting mechanism between administrative laws and criminal laws is actually a two-way lane - administrative punishment before the related criminal proceedings and administrative punishment after the related criminal proceedings. In terms of those two ways, their offsetting of administrative fines against the related criminal fine penalty must follow different principles and specific requirements. In order to fully protect the related public welfare, there should be exceptions to the principle of severe punishments absorbing the light punishments. In China, the legal protection of public welfare is extremely complex. In terms of the identification of the legal liabilities of the law-breakers, legislators and law enforcers should comprehensively consider the relationship and coordination among civil liabilities, administrative liabilities and criminal liabilities.

Because this legislative proposition involves a paradox and many conundrums yet to be resolved, this paper holds a negative attitude towards it. As an alternative, China can use the improved ad...

Abstract: Ndigbo have a peculiar way of being as a people. They have a peculiar way of relating among themselves and establishing social affinities; they have their unique idea of relatedness. This peculiar sense of relatedness bound them together as a people despite the absence of a central government in the pre-colonial era. Kinship was cherished and was in some situations elevated to the sacred. It was the sacred bond that established as well as defined social relations among Ndigbo. The Igbo social web of relatedness generally revolved around the father. Patriarchy was ubiquitous in the Igbo society. The mother was important but was not the pivot of kinship relations among Ndigbo. However, Afikpo, Ohafia and Abiriba stand out as notable exceptions due to their matrifocal kinship practices. Although kinship is generally expressed by proximity and consanguinity, Ndigbo have their peculiar ways of interpreting and expressing consanguinity in their cultural milieu. Ndigbo express certain levels of relatedness with people in their proximity but definitely do not ipso facto see such people as kith and kin. Although, Igbo kinship is mostly patrilineal, it certainly does have significant bi-lineal components. This work showcases Igbo kinship system in philosophical formations. It is essentially a philosophical investigation of the Igbo idea and practice of kinship using the analytic method of inquiry. The work will systematically explore the subject matter in logical formation.

Abstract: There are many ways of thinking and many forms of expression in packaging design. From the perspective of bionics, how to "skillfully borrow” from nature in order to provide packaging design with a reasonable form is a new, creative and innovative way of thinking. In this paper, “skillful borrowing”, a method unique to bionic design, is studied and demonstrated through corn sweet wine container packaging design. It is concluded that bionic packaging design can not only absorb a rich modeling vocabulary from natural forms, but also promote the deep integration of the material life and the natural environment. In this way, the design can be freed from various styles to provide a more optimized way of coexistence between “people and things” and get rid of the increasingly rigid evolution model.
