Research on Higher Education Quality Assurance in China During the Popularization

Abstract: Higher education has entered the stage of popularization in China. At the end of the 20th century, the Chinese government made a major decision to accelerate the development of higher education. To the 21st century, the scale of higher education has expanded unprecedentedly. The rapid increase in Numbers has caused many quality problems. It has attracted more and more attention of scholars and society how to develop higher education with high quality. In view of the problem, this paper provides an overview of higher education quality assurance in the world, including its rise, development and new trend. To adapt to higher education globalization, we should further deepen reform and innovation, and accelerate the construction and improvement of quality assurance to effectively improve high education quality. Of course, we also do it from the advanced experience of developed countries and reality in China. So we will take measures to improve higher education quality in China in future. We can also call it prospect for higher education quality. For example, there will be special policy and legal basis for quality assurance, professional certification evaluation system, national quality standards, reform and innovation. In fact, we will meet difficulties. And we should make decision to face reality. Altogether, the ultimate aim is to improve promote the good development of higher education quality.

Abstract: Nursing is the back bone of the health care system. There are only nurses who stay 24 hours with patient to improve patents healing process. Therefore, better patient outcome mostly depends on quality of nursing care provided to the patients. In Pakistan nursing profession is gaining attraction because it deals with the increasing demands of health problems. Chronic diseases, prolongation of old ages (geriatric care) and increasing demands of nursing service become integral part of quality health care system in Pakistan. In Pakistan advancement in medical field transformation is taking place in nursing education, nursing is operant part of health, growing very rapidly, acquiring more advance nursing education, and conducting researches in the field of nursing is a priority of the day. The specialized filed in nursing is focused by developed countries to deal with current and future demands of health care system. Pakistan is developing country and still is in transition period; at the time of independent there were only three nursing schools to train nurses with the absent of uniform curricula but the nursing education transformed from six months nursing training PHD to full fil the current need of nursing care but there is a need to more focus on nursing profession to empower this profession to become a part of our health care system. Research papers were evaluated to discuss the strategies and future direction of nursing education in Pakistan. Published articles were obtained systematically from google scholar, Midline, Pub med, porringer and science hub. Total 19 articles were included for review. Permission was taken from University concern institution. Articles which were published in English and not more than 10 years old with full version were included in this study and those articles which were not written in English and were published before 10 years. Curriculum reforms, distance education, clinical simulation, capacity building, virtual education program, cultural exchange program, PHD followership and nurse educators training programs were predicted strong antecedents of future direction of nursing education. Educational transformation is moving from diploma nursing to baccalaureate program followed by MSN program to overcome future challenges of nursing education which has direct relation with patient care.

Abstract: Through large-scale data collection and analysis, in-depth investigation and research, combined with the vertical and horizontal comparison of Postgraduates inside and outside the city, this study will finally show the overall advantages and gaps of graduate education in the form of data. Guided by the macro strategic development of Chongqing's economic and social construction, aiming at the current gap, the corresponding policy education is promoted from the three levels of the state, Chongqing and each training unit, so as to provide intellectual support for comprehensively improving the quality of graduate education in Chongqing. Through consulting relevant documents, define the key concepts such as graduate quality, graduate education quality, graduate training quality and graduate education evaluation; analyze the overall goal of graduate education; understand the current situation of graduate education quality evaluation in relevant provinces and cities; comprehensively collect the current situation of graduate education quality in our city, summarize and sort out the quality quantitative indicators; and influence the quality of graduate education The evaluation factors of quantity are summarized. This paper investigates the basic situation of doctoral education in Chongqing, investigates and analyses the satisfaction degree of doctoral training quality of six doctoral training institutions in Chongqing by means of questionnaires, and analyses the relevant indicators of higher and lower satisfaction degree of doctoral training quality in Chongqing, and thinks about further improving the satisfaction degree of doctoral training quality in Chongqing.

Abstract: The education reform in recent years has emphasized the reform of university education, attaching importance to the performance of university running, and pursuing excellence and equal educational quality. This research aims at a university in China, and explores the empirical study of students' satisfaction and loyalty to the quality of university administrative services. The results show that the quality of administrative services in universities through student satisfaction will have a significant impact on student loyalty to the university. For parents whose children are attending university or who are concerned about education, if they can understand the performance of university administration through objective university evaluation, they can further increase parents' confidence in the university and a sense of mission in participating in university affairs. Universities are professional organizations and must establish self-renewal mechanisms. Therefore, the ultimate purpose of university evaluation is to promote the development of a self-evaluation mechanism that operates on a regular basis, and to activate a steady stream of energy for the university's sustainable operation. According to the meaning represented by the above analysis results, there are further explanations and discussions in this article.

The Experience of Saudi Students with Online Learning in U.S. Universities

Abstract: Many significant developments have been continually and drastically evolved due to the change in the technological landscape. The consequence of technological advancements in education is the most essential and apparent among universities. The introduction of online courses has hence revolutionised the education experience for students in rendering flexibility and opportunities for learning. The present study is thereby conducted to explore and highlight the extent to which online courses and online learning, in general, expose the Saudi students in U.S. universities to new academic practices and cultural norms. For elucidating this researcher, the researcher adopted a qualitative for understanding and exploring the phenomenon. The data for the current study was collected using semi-structured interviews. To provide an overview, significant statements were analyzed and meaning units were generated for developing a full description of the phenomenon. Majorly, the participants in this study were graduate and undergraduate Saudi students who took online courses at U.S. universities between August 2015 and May 2017. The results of this study show that Saudi students’ academic performance was not affected by the method of delivering courses (face-to-face vs. online). In addition, Saudi students were introduced to a new classroom culture through the online courses. The results also revealed some advantages of online courses to those students such as flexibility and convenience. Technical issues were identified as a major challenge with online course. Primarily, the results of the phenomenological study are presented to help understand how Saudi students perceive online learning in U.S. universities and inform further research and practice on how to accommodate this growing group of international students in U.S. universities.
